  1. 1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pot and toast the hazelnuts over medium heat for 3 minutes until fragrant. Remove them from the pot.
  2. 2. In the same pot, heat the remaining 2 tbsp of oil. Add the cherry tomatoes and garlic and fry for 5 minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
  3. 3. Stir in the smoked paprika and pour in the chicken broth. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the pot from the heat. Puree the soup finely with an immersion blender. Stir in the crème fraîche and the roasted hazelnuts.
