  1. 1. Sauté the pepper cubes and onions in butter and a spoonful of oil in a pan over medium heat until soft and slightly caramelized.
  2. 2. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. 3. Boil the Cavatappi pasta in salted water al dente.
  4. 4. Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream and crumbled Gorgonzola into the pepper mixture until the cheese is melted.
  5. 5. Toss the drained pasta with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
