🍲 Beef Pho (Phở Bò)

Ingredients
- 1 L beef broth
- 200 g beef (e.g. tenderloin)
- 150 g rice noodles (Bánh phở)
- 1 onion
- 30 g ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
- 2 EL coriander roots
- 1 Prise fresh herbs (basil, mint)
- 1 lime
- 1 Prise chili
- 1 EL soy sauce
Instructions
- 1. Bring the beef broth to a boil and add ginger, onion, cinnamon, and star anise.
- 2. Slice the beef thinly and blanch briefly.
- 3. Prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- 4. Let the broth simmer for 1 hour.
- 5. Place the rice noodles in bowls and top with the sliced beef.
- 6. Pour hot broth over the noodles and beef, garnishing with fresh herbs and lime.
