🥧 Spanish Tortilla with Smoked Paprika

Ingredients
- 400 g Potatoes
- 150 g Onion
- 5 Stück Eggs
- 4 EL Rapeseed oil
- 1 TL Smoked paprika powder
- 1 Prise Salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
- 2. Cut the onion into thin rings.
- 3. Fry the potato slices and onion rings in a large pot with hot oil over medium heat for 10 minutes until soft, without browning them.
- 4. Beat the eggs in a large bowl and stir in the paprika and pinch of salt.
- 5. Add the drained hot potato-onion mixture to the egg mixture and let it cool for 5 minutes so the potatoes absorb the liquid.
- 6. Heat a non-stick pan with a spoonful of oil and pour in the mixture.
- 7. Fry the tortilla over medium heat for 4 minutes until the bottom is firm.
- 8. Place a large plate over the pan and flip the tortilla.
- 9. Return the tortilla to the pan and fry the other side for another 3 minutes.
- 10. Invert the finished tortilla onto a plate and cut into cubes.
