  1. 1. Cut the chicken breast into strips. Marinate them with 10 ml olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let them sit for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Cut the zucchini, bell peppers, onion, and tomatoes into coarse cubes. Halve the tomatoes.
  3. 3. Heat 20 ml olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips for approx. 6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove them and cut them into strips.
  4. 4. Fry the onion and garlic in the same pan for 2 minutes. Then add all the vegetable pieces (zucchini, peppers). Cook them for 10 minutes until the vegetables are soft but firm to the bite. Remove the pan from the heat.
  5. 5. Take the pan off the heat. Add the tomatoes and fresh basil. Gently stir everything. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Serving: Divide the ratatouille onto 4 bowls. Place the chicken strips on top. Take the meal with you if you prefer it cold, or eat it warm.
