🥧 Walnut and Spinach Quiche

Ingredients
- 1 Packung (320 g) Puff pastry (chilled)
- 200 g Fresh spinach
- 300 ml Whole milk
- 3 Stück Eggs (Size M)
- 150 g Feta cheese (drained)
- 50 g Walnuts (roasted)
- 1 Prise Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 1 Prise Salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C conventional mode.
- 2. Wash the spinach and wilt it in a pot on high heat for 3 minutes until it collapses. Let it cool and squeeze it firmly with your hands to remove excess water.
- 3. Crumble the feta into coarse cubes and roughly chop the walnuts. Mix the spinach, feta, and walnuts in a bowl.
- 4. Whisk the eggs with milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- 5. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface so it fits your springform pan (26 cm). Place the pastry in the pan and prick the bottom multiple times with a fork.
- 6. Pour the egg mixture over the filling in the tart pan. Make sure the pastry edge remains intact.
- 7. Bake the quiche for about 30 to 35 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the center feels firm. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
