🍽️ Potato Gratin in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 200 ml Heavy cream
- 50 g Butter
- 150 g Gruyère
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the 600 g potatoes and remove all eyes.
- 2. Slice the potatoes into evenly sized pieces, about 3 mm thick.
- 3. Cut the 50 g butter into small cubes.
- 4. Cut the Gruyère into fine shavings or coarsely grate it.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 6. Pour the 200 ml heavy cream, butter cubes, salt and pepper into a saucepan.
- 7. Heat the cream mixture over medium heat until the butter melts.
- 8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and gently stir in the potato slices.
- 9. Fill the marinated potatoes into a heatproof form for the air fryer.
- 10. Pour the remaining cream mixture evenly over the potatoes.
- 11. Sprinkle all of the Gruyère evenly over the surface.
- 12. Cook the gratin in the air fryer at 180 °C for 35 minutes, turning the slices halfway through until golden brown.
- 13. Let the gratin rest for 5 minutes so the sauce thickens.
- 14. Serve the gratin when the surface is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
