🍽️ Potato Cheese Gratin in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500g Potatoes
- 200g Sour Cream
- 200g Gruyère
- 50g Butter
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
- 1 TL Thyme
Instructions
- 1. Peel the 500 g potatoes and remove all eyes.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into approximately 3 mm thick, even slices.
- 3. Cut the 50 g butter into small cubes.
- 4. Grate the 200 g Gruyère cheese into fine shavings.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 6. Put the butter cubes into a small bowl and melt them in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- 7. Stir the sour cream, salt, pepper, and thyme into the melted butter.
- 8. Lay half of the potato slices flat in the air fryer basket.
- 9. Pour half of the sour cream mixture over the first layer of potatoes.
- 10. Distribute the remaining potato slices on top.
- 11. Pour the remaining sour cream mixture over the top layer.
- 12. Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese evenly over everything.
- 13. Bake the gratin for 15 minutes at 180 °C, until the edges bubble slightly.
- 14. Carefully turn the slices with a fork for even browning.
- 15. Bake the gratin for another 15 minutes at 180 °C, until the surface is golden brown and crispy.
- 16. Let the gratin sit in the basket for 5 minutes so the sauce thickens.
- 17. Remove the gratin and serve it when it is firm enough to cut.
