- 200g Gruyère
- 100g Sour Cream
- 50g Butter
- 200ml Milk
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the 500 g potatoes and remove all eyes.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into approximately 3 mm thick, even slices.
- 3. Place the slices in cold water to prevent browning.
- 4. Bring water to a boil in a pot with 1 tsp salt.
- 5. Add the drained potatoes to the boiling water for 5 minutes.
- 6. Drain the potatoes and let them drip for 2 minutes.
- 7. Melt the 50 g butter in a small frying pan.
- 8. Fry the potatoes in the butter for 3 minutes, until they shine slightly.
- 9. Mix the hot potatoes with 200 ml milk and 100 g sour cream.
- 10. Season the mixture with 1 tsp pepper and mix everything well.
- 11. Pour the mixture into a heatproof dish for the air fryer.
- 12. Smooth the surface so the gratin bakes evenly.
- 13. Spread the grated 200 g Gruyère evenly over the surface.
- 14. Place the dish in the air fryer at 180 °C.
- 15. Bake the gratin for 30 minutes, until the surface is golden brown and bubbles form.
- 16. Let the gratin rest for 5 minutes so the sauce thickens.
- 17. Serve the gratin directly from the dish; it should be firm.
