  2. 2. Dry the potatoes and mash them with the butter and milk to make puree.
  3. 3. Season the puree with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Wash the mushrooms and cut them into cubes.
  5. 5. Cut the onions finely and sauté them in some oil.
  6. 6. Add the mushrooms and fry them until golden brown.
  7. 7. Stir in the tomato paste and deglaze with the stock.
  8. 8. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.
  9. 9. Fill the mushroom mixture into a baking dish.
  10. 10. Spread the potato puree smoothly over the top.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.
  12. 12. Bake the dish at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes in the oven.
