Ingredients
- 400g Pork Tenderloin
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 1 TL Thyme
- 2 EL Olive Oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cut the pork tenderloin into 4 equally thick medallions, about 3 cm thick.
- 2. Pat the meat pieces dry with paper towels – never wash, that spreads germs.
- 3. Peel 4 garlic cloves and press them through a press or chop them finely.
- 4. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems and chop them roughly.
- 5. Put the medallions in a bowl and sprinkle them with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper.
- 6. Add the chopped garlic, the thyme, and 2 tbsp olive oil to the bowl.
- 7. Rub the oil evenly into the meat with your hands, until everything is coated.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C until the signal sounds.
- 9. Place the meat pieces in the basket so they don’t overlap.
- 10. Cook the meat at 180 °C for 12 minutes, until it’s lightly browned on the outside.
- 11. Turn the medallions halfway through the cooking time, so they brown evenly on all sides.
- 12. Take the meat out and let it rest on a plate for 5 minutes.
- 13. Slice the tenderloin into thick slices – this keeps the juices inside.
- 14. Arrange the slices on plates and drizzle them with the meat juices.
- 15. Serve the dish immediately – it’s perfect when it’s tender, but not grey.
