Ingredients
- 400g Pork Chops
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Bund Fresh Rosemary
- 1 EL Lemon Juice
- 2 EL Olive Oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Slice the 3 garlic cloves into very thin slices. Important: don't chop them too finely, so they don't burn.
- 2. Pluck the rosemary needles from the 1 bunch of stems. Discard the tough stems and roughly chop the needles.
- 3. Pat the 400g pork chops dry with paper towels. Never wash them, as this spreads germs.
- 4. Place the chops in a bowl. Sprinkle them with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper.
- 5. Pour in the 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Rub the seasonings firmly into the meat.
- 6. Scatter the garlic slices and chopped rosemary evenly over the pork chops.
- 7. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes. IMPORTANT: Preheating is essential.
- 8. Place the pork chops flat in the basket. Make sure they don't overlap.
- 9. Cook the pork chops at 180 °C for 15 minutes, until golden brown. Flip them once after 7 minutes.
- 10. Check the cooking time: A meat thermometer should read 63 °C. Alternatively: juices should run clear when pierced.
- 11. Remove the pork chops and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes. This keeps them juicy.
- 12. Slice the pork chops into strips, if you like. To serve: drizzle the juices from the plate over the chops.
