🍟 One-Pot Steak Strips and Fries with Herb Butter

Ingredients
- 400 g Beef Steak (e.g. Sirloin)
- 500 g Potatoes (waxy)
- 40 g Butter
- 2 EL Sunflower Oil
- 1 TL Dried Chives (frozen)
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes and cut them into coarse cubes or batons.
- 2. Fry the potato pieces in a large pan with the oil over medium heat for approx. 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- 3. Remove the potatoes from the pan and keep them warm.
- 4. Cut the steak into bite-sized strips and season generously with salt and pepper.
- 5. Fry the meat strips in the same pan (without additional oil) over high heat for approx. 3-4 minutes to sear until brown.
- 6. Return the potatoes to the pan with the meat and heat them briefly.
- 7. Cut the butter into small pieces and add them to the pan.
- 8. Add the chives and stir everything until the butter has melted and forms a sauce.
- 9. Serve the dish immediately on plates.
