🫑 Flash Spanish Peppers with Halloumi

Ingredients
- 6 Stück mittelgroß Peppers (mixed red and yellow)
- 300 g Halloumi cheese
- 1 Stück Onion (large)
- 2 EL Tomato paste
- 1 Stück Garlic clove
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Beef broth (powder)
- 1 TL Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the core.
- 2. Slice the halloumi into thick slices and fry them in the pan on both sides until golden brown.
- 3. Place the pepper halves in the pan (cut side down).
- 4. Finely dice the onion and garlic and add them around the peppers in the pan.
- 5. Dissolve the tomato paste with the broth and sugar and pour it slightly around the peppers.
- 6. Let the peppers steam for about 8 minutes until tender.
- 7. Serve the stuffed peppers next to the fried halloumi slices.
