  1. 1. Steam and puree the spinach.
  2. 2. Drain the chickpeas (if canned).
  3. 3. Chop onion and ginger finely, and sauté in a pan.
  4. 4. Add cumin and turmeric, mix well.
  5. 5. Add pureed spinach and chickpeas.
  6. 6. Season with chili powder and salt, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Serve and enjoy.
