🍞 Classic Pain Perdu with Cinnamon Apple

Ingredients
- 3 Stück (ca. 200 g) Day-old buns
- 2 Stück Eggs
- 150 ml Milk
- 1 TL Cinnamon
- 1 Stück Apple
- 20 g Sugar
- 30 g Butter
Instructions
- 1. Slice the buns into 1.5 cm thick slices.
- 2. Whisk eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- 3. Peel and dice the apple into small cubes.
- 4. Sauté the apple cubes in the pan with a little butter and sugar until glossy.
- 5. Dip the bread slices briefly into the egg mixture and place them in the hot pan.
- 6. Fry the French toast for approx. 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 7. Serve the toast hot with the caramelized apples.
