🍞 Toasted Bread with Apple-Cinnamon Filling and Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- 4 Stk Brioche or white bread (1cm thick slices)
- 150 ml Milk
- 2 Stk Eggs (Size M)
- 1 TL Cinnamon
- 40 g Butter
- 2 Stk Apples (firm)
- 20 g Sugar
- 150 g Greek yogurt
- 1 EL Honey
Instructions
- 1. Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into small cubes.
- 2. Sauté the apple cubes in a pot with some butter and 10g sugar briefly.
- 3. Mix milk, eggs, cinnamon, and remaining 10g sugar in a shallow dish.
- 4. Dip the bread slices briefly into the egg mixture until saturated.
- 5. Place the saturated bread slices on a baking sheet.
- 6. Distribute the apple mixture evenly on one half of each slice.
- 7. Fold the bread over so the filling is enclosed.
- 8. Fry the slices in a non-stick pan in butter until golden brown, approx. 3-4 minutes per side.
- 9. Mix the yogurt with the honey for the dip.
- 10. Serve the toasted sandwiches hot with the yogurt dip.
