🍞 French Toast with Maple Syrup and Berries

Ingredients
- 4 Stück old rolls (cut)
- 2 Stück eggs (size M)
- 100 ml milk
- 1 TL cinnamon
- 10 g sugar
- 20 g butter
- 30 ml maple syrup
- 50 g blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the rolls into slices approx. 2 cm thick.
- 2. Beat the eggs loosely with a fork in a shallow pan.
- 3. Mix the milk, cinnamon, and sugar in a separate bowl.
- 4. Dip each bread slice briefly into the milk-sugar mixture so it is soaked but does not fall apart.
- 5. Melt half of the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- 6. Place the soaked bread slices in the pan and fry them golden brown, approx. 2-3 minutes per side.
- 7. Repeat the process with the remaining butter and the remaining slices.
- 8. Serve the slices on plates and add the blueberries and maple syrup on top.
