🍗 Oven Chicken Thighs in Creamy Mushroom Sauce with Herb Crust

Ingredients
- 4 Stück Chicken thighs (boneless, skin-on)
- 250 g Mushrooms (cremini or white)
- 1 mittelgroße Onion
- 2 Zehen Garlic
- 80 g Bacon cubes (smoked)
- 100 ml Chicken broth
- 150 ml Heavy cream
- 50 ml Dry white wine
- 6 Stück Sage leaves (fresh)
- 1 Esslöffel Olive oil
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and garlic, and slice the mushrooms.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe pan and fry the bacon cubes for 2 minutes until crispy.
- 4. Add the onions and mushrooms and fry for 5 minutes until soft.
- 5. Remove the pan from the heat and add the white wine and chicken broth. Let them reduce for 1 minute.
- 6. Place the chicken thighs skin-side up in the pan and add the cream and sage leaves.
- 7. Put the pan in the oven and bake the chicken for 25 minutes until the skin is golden brown.
- 8. Remove the pan from the oven, season the sauce briefly with salt and pepper, and serve the chicken directly in the pan.
