Ingredients
- 1 Eggplant
- 250 g Ground beef
- 400 g Crushed tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 100 g Cheese (e.g. Feta)
- 1 Egg
- 1 Prise Spices (oregano, pepper, salt)
Instructions
- 1. Slice the eggplant and sprinkle with salt, let sit for 30 minutes.
- 2. Dice the onion and sauté in olive oil, add the ground beef and cook well.
- 3. Add crushed tomatoes and spices, simmer for 10 minutes.
- 4. Rinse the eggplants, pat dry, and sauté in a pan with a bit of olive oil.
- 5. In a baking dish, layer alternately eggplant, meat sauce, and crumbled cheese.
- 6. Beat the egg and pour it over the layers.
- 7. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
