1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat). Mix the sugar with the soft butter in a bowl. Roll out the puff pastry thinly with a rolling pin and spread the butter evenly over it.
2. Cut the dough into 5 cm wide strips. Cut triangles out of these strips. Roll the triangles tightly into small croissants and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
3. Bake the mini-croissants in the oven for about 8–10 minutes, until golden brown. Then carefully remove them from the oven, let them cool for a moment, and serve them with fruit and milk if you like. Enjoy! Tip: Rolling up the croissants requires a bit of skill.
