Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes and ensures crispy salmon.
  2. 2. Pat the 200 g salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Never wash it, or it will become mushy.
  3. 3. Rub 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper over the fillet. Gently massage in the spices.
  4. 4. Place the fillet in the basket. Brush it thinly with 1 tbsp olive oil. This keeps it juicy.
  5. 5. Cook the salmon at 180 °C for about 10 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. 6. Remove the salmon and place it on a plate. Let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
  7. 7. Wash the garlic and parsley under cold water. Remove any tough stems from the parsley.
  8. 8. Finely chop the 2 garlic cloves. Make sure they aren't too small, so they don't burn.
  9. 9. Finely chop the bunch of parsley. Set aside a small spoon for garnish.
  10. 10. Juice the half lemon. Pour the juice into a small bowl. Avoid the seeds.
  11. 11. Add the capers and the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil to the lemon juice. Stir well.
  12. 12. Stir the chopped garlic and parsley (except the garnish) into the sauce. Taste it now.
  13. 13. Cut the salmon into large pieces. Arrange them on the plate. Pour the sauce over the top.
  14. 14. Sprinkle the dish with the remaining parsley. The salmon is perfect when it's tender and juicy.
