Ingredients
- 200 g Salmon fillet
- 1 EL Lemon juice
- 1 EL Olive oil
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 TL Thyme
- 1 TL Oregano
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 2. Pat the 200 g salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Never wash it, as this spreads germs.
- 3. Finely chop the garlic clove. This prevents it from burning at the high heat.
- 4. Place the salmon in a bowl. Drizzle it with 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
- 5. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Spread it evenly over the fish.
- 6. Spread the finely chopped garlic evenly over the salmon.
- 7. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon thyme and 1 teaspoon oregano over it. Ensure even distribution.
- 8. Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper. Gently rub the spices in.
- 9. Place the salmon flat in the air fryer basket. Make sure it doesn’t overlap.
- 10. Cook the salmon at 180 °C for about 8 to 10 minutes. The exact time depends on the fillet thickness.
- 11. Open the basket halfway through. Check if the fish is already firm.
- 12. Continue cooking until the salmon is golden brown at the edges and flakes easily with a fork.
- 13. Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Let it rest in the basket for 2 minutes.
- 14. Place the salmon on a plate. It’s perfect when it looks juicy and flaky.
