  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-off.
  2. 2. Line a muffin tin with 12 paper cases.
  3. 3. Mix flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  4. 4. Beat the soft butter with the sugar and eggs in another bowl until creamy.
  5. 5. Fold in the flour mixture and the milk alternately into the butter mixture.
  6. 6. Fill the batter evenly into the cases.
  7. 7. Press some chopped almonds on top of each mound of dough.
  8. 8. Bake the magdalenas for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. 9. Let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing them.
