🍲 Lentil-Tomato Feast with Crust

Ingredients
- 250 g Dried lentils
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 300 g Potatoes
- 1 Stk. Onions
- 2 EL Tomato paste
- 500 ml Beef broth
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Sweet paprika powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lentils under cold water.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.
- 3. Finely chop the onion.
- 4. Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onion for 3 minutes.
- 5. Stir in the tomato paste and fry it for 1 minute.
- 6. Add the lentils, potatoes, canned tomatoes, broth, and spices.
- 7. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 25 minutes.
- 8. Test the potatoes for doneness. If they are soft, the dish is ready. Serve it in a deep bowl.
