🥣 Quick Red Lentil Tomato Cream

Ingredients
- 200 g Red lentils (washed)
- 500 ml Pizza base sauce from jar
- 200 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 Stück (2 cm) Ginger (fresh)
- 2 Zehen Garlic
- 1 EL Olive oil
- 1/2 TL Salt
- 1 Prise Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and garlic and chop them very finely.
- 2. Heat the olive oil in a pot and sauté the ginger and garlic for 1 minute.
- 3. Pour the red lentils, the pizza base sauce, and the vegetable broth into the pot.
- 4. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat.
- 5. Simmer the lentils for 12 minutes until they are soft.
- 6. Puree the soup with an immersion blender until smooth.
- 7. Season with salt and pepper and serve the dish immediately.
