🥗 Lentils with Spätzle

Ingredients
- 150g Lentils (green or brown)
- 50g Smoked Bacon
- 1 Stück Onion
- 1 Stück Carrot
- 1 Stange Celery
- 500ml Broth
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 Prise Pepper
- 200g Spaetzle (cooked)
Instructions
- 1. Soak lentils in a pot of water (about 30 minutes).
- 2. Dice bacon, onion, carrot, and celery and sauté in a large pot.
- 3. Drain the soaked lentils and add to the pot, then pour in broth.
- 4. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for about 30 minutes until lentils are soft.
- 5. Warm the cooked spaetzle gently in the broth.
- 6. Serve the lentils with the spaetzle.
