🍽️ Sausage with Onions in a Roll

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- oil 2 tbsp
- pickles 4 pc.
- grill sausages 4 pc.
- rolls 4 pc.
- mustard 4 tsp
- ketchup 4 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onion in half and peel off the skin.
- 2. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 3. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 4. Sauté the onion rings for about eight to ten minutes until they are soft.
- 5. Drain the pickles.
- 6. Slice the pickles.
- 7. Grill the sausages on the grill rack for about fifteen to twenty minutes.
- 8. Turn the sausages regularly so they brown on all sides.
- 9. Slice the rolls lengthwise, but do not cut them all the way through.
- 10. Spread mustard and ketchup on the rolls.
- 11. Place one grilled sausage into each roll.
- 12. Garnish the sausages with the sautéed onions and pickle slices as desired.
- 13. Alternatively, you can fry the sausages in a pan.
- 14. Heat one tablespoon of oil in the pan over medium to high heat.
- 15. Fry the sausages for about three to four minutes on each side.
