  2. 2. Cut the onions in half and peel off the outer skin.
  3. 3. Slice the onions into very thin strips.
  4. 4. Wash the chives thoroughly.
  5. 5. Shake the chives dry.
  6. 6. Cut the chives into fine rings.
  7. 7. Heat one tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
  8. 8. Fry the onion strips in it for about 5 minutes.
  9. 9. Season the onions with salt to taste.
  10. 10. Deglaze the onions with apple juice.
  11. 11. Let the mixture come to a boil for about 1 minute.
