🍽️ Homemade Onion Butter with Crispy Roasted Onions

Ingredients
- butter 250 g
- onions, red 1 pc.
- chives, fresh 20 g
- salt pinch
- apple juice, cloudy 4 tbsp
- crispy fried onions 4 tbsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Take the butter out of the fridge to let it soften.
- 2. Cut the onions in half and peel off the outer skin.
- 3. Slice the onions into very thin strips.
- 4. Wash the chives thoroughly.
- 5. Shake the chives dry.
- 6. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 7. Heat one tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 8. Fry the onion strips in it for about 5 minutes.
- 9. Season the onions with salt to taste.
- 10. Deglaze the onions with apple juice.
- 11. Let the mixture come to a boil for about 1 minute.
- 12. Let the fried onions cool down slightly.
- 13. Place the softened butter into a bowl.
- 14. Mix the butter with the fried onions.
- 15. Fold in the fine chive rings.
- 16. Add the roasted onions to the mixture.
- 17. Season the butter generously with salt.
- 18. Season the butter generously with pepper.
