Ingredients
- leaf gelatin 5 pcs.
- whipping cream 400 g
- vanilla pod 1 pcs.
- sugar 40 g
- organic limes 1 pcs.
- strawberries 300 g
- powdered sugar 40 g
Instructions
- 1. Soak three sheets of gelatin in cold water. Warm the cream in a pot over low heat. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Then add the vanilla pod, the seeds, and 40 g sugar to the cream and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
- 2. Remove the vanilla pod from the cream. Squeeze the softened gelatin lightly and stir it into the cream until it is completely dissolved. Divide the panna cotta among four glasses and let it set in the refrigerator for about 3 hours (best on an empty egg carton).
- 3. Soak two sheets of gelatin in cold water. Wash the lime thoroughly under hot water, grate about 1 tsp of zest, halve it, and squeeze out the juice. Wash the strawberries, remove the green tops, and chop them into coarse cubes. Puree finely in a tall container with powdered sugar, lime zest, and 1 tsp lime juice.
- 4. Squeeze the soaked gelatin lightly and melt it in a pot over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp strawberry puree, mix well, and then combine with the remaining strawberry puree. Pour the strawberry puree over the panna cotta and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- 5. Serve the two-tone panna cotta with strawberries. Enjoy your meal!
