  1. 1. Wash one orange thoroughly under hot water.
  2. 2. Grate about one teaspoon of the orange peel.
  3. 3. Squeeze the juice from the orange.
  4. 4. Place the orange juice, grated peel, sugar, and cinnamon in a pot.
  5. 5. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils.
  6. 6. Let the syrup simmer for about three minutes.
  7. 7. Stir occasionally while simmering.
  8. 8. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup cool down.
  9. 9. Peel the remaining oranges, the grapefruit, and the clementines using a sharp knife.
  10. 10. Make sure to remove all the white pith completely.
  11. 11. Slice the fruits into thin pieces.
  12. 12. Remove any seeds from the slices.
  13. 13. Separate and discard the white central part of the slices.
  14. 14. Cut the pomegranate in half.
  15. 15. Tap the pomegranate halves with a spoon to release the seeds.
  16. 16. Remove the white membranes from the seeds.
  17. 17. Wash the mint.
  18. 18. Shake the mint dry.
  19. 19. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems.
  20. 20. Finely chop the mint leaves.
  21. 21. Mix the citrus fruits with the cooled syrup.
  22. 22. Divide the salad among four deep plates.
  23. 23. Garnish the salad with the pomegranate seeds.
  24. 24. Sprinkle the chopped mint over the top.
