🥤 Fresh Lemon Syrup Made from Scratch

Ingredients
- Organic lemons 500 g
- Water 200 ml
- Brown sugar 250 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the lemons under hot water.
- 2. Finely grate the lemon peel.
- 3. Cut the lemons in half.
- 4. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
- 5. Put water, sugar, lemon juice, and the grated peel into a pot.
- 6. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it boils.
- 7. Reduce the heat to low.
- 8. Let the syrup steep for about 15 minutes.
- 9. Strain the finished syrup through a sieve.
- 10. Pour the syrup into sterilized jars or bottles.
- 11. Seal the containers immediately.
- 12. Store the syrup in a cool, dark place until you are ready to use it.
