  5. 5. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice.
  6. 6. Stir butter, sugar, and two tablespoons of lemon juice together in a large bowl for a short time.
  7. 7. Add the eggs one by one to the mixture and stir each egg in well before adding the next one.
  8. 8. Add flour, baking powder, and the grated lemon zest to the bowl.
  9. 9. Stir the ingredients well until a uniform batter forms.
  10. 10. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  11. 11. Bake the cake in the oven for about 45 minutes.
