🍽️ Lemon Chicken with Rosemary Potatoes

Ingredients
- chicken thighs 800 g
- lemons 2 pcs.
- chili, ground pinch
- salt 0.5 tsp
- potatoes, mostly waxy 1 kg
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- rosemary, fresh 24 g
- pepper, black ground pinch
- olive oil 4 tbsp
- spring onions 1 bunch
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken meat under running water.
- 2. Dry the meat thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wash the lemons under hot water.
- 4. Grate about 2 teaspoons of the lemon zest finely.
- 5. Cut the lemons in half.
- 6. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
- 7. Place the lemon zest, lemon juice, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and chili in a bowl.
- 8. Mix the marinade ingredients well.
- 9. Place the chicken meat into the marinade.
- 10. Let the meat marinate.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 200 °C with top and bottom heat.
- 12. Peel the potatoes.
- 13. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 14. Cut the potatoes into wedges.
- 15. Peel the garlic.
- 16. Chop the garlic finely.
- 17. Wash the rosemary.
- 18. Shake the rosemary dry.
- 19. Pluck the rosemary needles from the stems.
- 20. Place the potato wedges in a baking dish.
- 21. Add the chopped garlic to the baking dish.
- 22. Add the rosemary needles to the baking dish.
- 23. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper.
- 24. Drizzle the potatoes with olive oil.
- 25. Mix the potatoes well with the spices and oil.
- 26. Take the chicken drumsticks out of the marinade.
- 27. Arrange the chicken drumsticks on top of the potatoes.
- 28. Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken drumsticks.
- 29. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
- 30. Wash the spring onions.
- 31. Cut off the root ends of the spring onions.
- 32. Cut the spring onions into pieces about 5 cm long.
- 33. Take the dish out of the oven after about 15 minutes of baking time.
- 34. Add the spring onions to the chicken.
- 35. Finish cooking the dish together.
- 36. Carefully take the dish out of the oven.
- 37. Plate the dish.
- 38. Serve the dish.
