Ingredients
- Lemons 2 pcs
- Rosemary, fresh 30 g
- Garlic bulb 1 pcs
- Potatoes, mostly waxy 1 kg
- Broccoli 1 pcs
- Roasting chicken 1 pcs
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, white ground pinch
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
- Poultry broth 500 ml
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the lemon thoroughly and pat it dry.
- 3. Cut the lemon in half.
- 4. Rinse the rosemary and let it drain.
- 5. Cut the garlic bulb in half horizontally.
- 6. Wash the potatoes.
- 7. Cut the potatoes into quarters.
- 8. Rinse the broccoli.
- 9. Remove the tough stem from the broccoli.
- 10. Separate the broccoli into small florets.
- 11. Roughly dice the removed broccoli stem.
- 12. Rinse the chicken.
- 13. Pat the chicken dry inside and out.
- 14. Season the chicken generously with salt and pepper.
- 15. Rub the chicken with olive oil.
- 16. Stuff the lemon, garlic, and rosemary into the chicken.
- 17. Place the chicken in a roasting pan with the breast side facing down.
- 18. Pour broth into the roasting pan.
- 19. Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven.
- 20. Cook the chicken for about 60 minutes.
- 21. Turn the chicken over so the breast faces up.
- 22. Arrange the potatoes around the chicken.
- 23. Arrange the broccoli around the chicken.
- 24. Arrange the lemon around the chicken.
- 25. Arrange the rosemary around the chicken.
- 26. Arrange the garlic around the chicken.
- 27. Switch the oven to the grill function.
- 28. Grill the chicken with the vegetables for about 30 minutes.
- 29. Grill until the chicken is golden brown.
- 30. Remove the chicken from the roasting pan.
- 31. Remove the stuffing from the chicken.
- 32. Carve the chicken into portions.
- 33. Place the chicken on a serving platter.
- 34. Squeeze the juice from half of the garlic cloves.
- 35. Mix the garlic paste with the roasted potatoes.
- 36. Mix the garlic paste with the broccoli.
- 37. Arrange the vegetables around the chicken.
- 38. Let the lemon cool down briefly.
- 39. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
- 40. Drizzle the lemon juice over the chicken.
- 41. Garnish the dish with rosemary.
- 42. Garnish the dish with the lemon half.
- 43. Garnish the dish with the garlic.
