  1. 1. Put milk, yeast, and one tablespoon of sugar into the mixing container.
  2. 2. Heat the mixture at 37 degrees Celsius for 4 minutes on level 1.
  3. 3. Add 100 grams of cut butter, flour, 50 grams of sugar, eggs, a pinch of salt, and vanilla sugar.
  4. 4. Knead the dough for 2 minutes on the dough kneading setting.
  5. 5. Transfer the dough into a bowl and cover it.
  6. 6. Let the dough rest in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
  7. 7. Melt 50 grams of butter and cinnamon in the mixing container for 4 minutes on level 1 at 70 degrees Celsius.
  8. 8. Divide the dough into two halves.
  9. 9. Roll each half on a floured work surface into a rectangle about 5 millimeters thick.
  10. 10. Brush the dough with the cinnamon butter and sprinkle sugar over it.
  11. 11. Roll the dough up starting from the long side.
  12. 12. Cut the dough into pieces about 3 centimeters thick.
  13. 13. Place the pieces on two baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  14. 14. Let the rolls rise again, covered, for about 30 minutes.
  15. 15. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat).
  16. 16. Bake the cinnamon rolls for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  17. 17. Halve a lemon and squeeze out the juice.
  18. 18. Whisk powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a bowl to make a thick glaze.
  19. 19. Take the cinnamon rolls out of the oven and brush them with the glaze.
  20. 20. Serve the rolls best while warm.
