🍰 Crunchy Plum Cookies with Dark Chocolate

Ingredients
- Chocolate, dark 100 g
- Butter 120 g
- Dried plums 120 g
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Brown sugar 125 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 175 g
- Cocoa powder 60 g
- Salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Fill a pot with about 500 milliliters of water and bring it to a boil.
- 3. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces.
- 4. Place a metal bowl over the pot with the hot water.
- 5. Add the chocolate pieces and the butter to the metal bowl.
- 6. Let the chocolate and butter melt slowly in the hot water bath.
- 7. Remove the bowl from the pot and let the chocolate mixture cool down briefly.
- 8. Cut the plums into small pieces.
- 9. Put the eggs and sugar into a separate bowl.
- 10. Whisk the eggs and sugar with a hand mixer and whisk until creamy.
- 11. Stir the cooled chocolate-butter mixture into the egg mixture gradually.
- 12. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt to the bowl.
- 13. Stir all ingredients well until a uniform dough forms.
- 14. Fold the chopped plums into the dough.
- 15. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 16. Take two teaspoons of dough and form it into a ball the size of a walnut.
- 17. Place the dough portions on the tray with enough space between them.
- 18. Press the dough balls down slightly.
- 19. Put the tray into the preheated oven.
- 20. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
- 21. Take the cookies out of the oven when they are still slightly soft inside.
- 22. Serve the warm cookies immediately after baking.
