🥤 Spicy Strawberry Sparkling Wine

Ingredients
- strawberries 50 g
- rosemary, fresh 5 g
- organic limes 0.5 pc.
- powdered sugar 1 tsp
- sekt, dry 150 ml
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Set aside two particularly nice strawberries for garnish.
- 3. Remove the green leafy tops from the remaining strawberries.
- 4. Puree the remaining strawberries in a tall container until smooth.
- 5. Wash the rosemary sprigs and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Strip the needles from two rosemary sprigs.
- 7. Finely chop the rosemary needles.
- 8. Wash the lime thoroughly.
- 9. Zest about one teaspoon of lime peel.
- 10. Cut the lime in half.
- 11. Squeeze out the lime juice.
- 12. Mix the strawberry puree with the chopped rosemary needles.
- 13. Add the powdered sugar to the mixture.
- 14. Add the grated lime zest to the mixture.
- 15. Add the lime juice to the mixture.
- 16. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
- 17. Pour the marinated strawberry mixture into a glass.
- 18. Top up the drink with chilled sparkling wine.
- 19. Garnish the glass with the reserved strawberries.
- 20. Serve the sparkling wine immediately.
