🍽️ Sausage Skewers with Vegetable Fries and Chive Mustard Dip

Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 500 g
- carrots 6 pcs.
- oil 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- pepper, green 1 pc.
- cherry tomatoes 500 g
- grilled sausages 4 pcs.
- sugar pinch
- chives, fresh 20 g
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- mustard 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the potatoes into sticks about 2 centimeters thick.
- 4. Peel the carrots.
- 5. Trim the ends of the carrots.
- 6. Quarter or eighth the carrots lengthwise.
- 7. Place the potatoes and carrots in a bowl.
- 8. Add 1 tablespoon of oil, salt, and pepper.
- 9. Mix the vegetables well with the spices.
- 10. Place the vegetables on a baking sheet.
- 11. Cook the vegetables in the oven for approx. 25 minutes.
- 12. Empty and clean the bowl.
- 13. Rinse the bell peppers.
- 14. Remove the flesh and seeds from the bell peppers.
- 15. Cut the bell peppers into strips.
- 16. Rinse the tomatoes.
- 17. Cut the roast sausages into thirds.
- 18. Thread the peppers, tomatoes, and sausages alternately onto wooden skewers.
- 19. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over high heat.
- 20. Fry the skewers in the pan for about 5 minutes.
- 21. Season the skewers with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- 22. Place the skewers in the oven with the fries.
- 23. Cook the skewers for the remaining time.
- 24. Rinse the chives.
- 25. Shake the chives dry.
- 26. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 27. Mix the chives, yogurt, and mustard in the cleaned bowl.
- 28. Season the dip with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- 29. Take everything out of the oven.
- 30. Arrange the fries on plates.
- 31. Place the skewers on the fries.
- 32. Serve the dip alongside.
