🍽️ Curry Chicken Wraps

Ingredients
- chicken breast fillets 600 g
- curry powder 4 g
- oil 5 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- mini romaine 2 pcs
- corn from the can 425 ml
- mushrooms, white 500 g
- wraps 8 pcs
- mustard 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Cut the meat into approx. 2 cm cubes.
- 3. Place the chicken cubes in a bowl.
- 4. Add 1 tablespoon of oil, curry powder, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Mix everything well so that the meat is evenly seasoned.
- 6. Set the marinated chicken pieces aside.
- 7. Remove the hard stems from the romaine lettuce.
- 8. Cut the lettuce leaves crosswise into approx. 0.5 cm wide strips.
- 9. Rinse the lettuce strips thoroughly.
- 10. Spin the lettuce dry in a salad spinner.
- 11. Place the corn in a sieve and let it drain.
- 12. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a kitchen towel.
- 13. Cut the mushrooms into eighths.
- 14. Preheat the oven to 50 °C fan-assisted.
- 15. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- 16. Fry the chicken pieces all around for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 17. Remove the meat from the pan and place it on a plate.
- 18. Add another 2 tablespoons of oil to the same hot pan.
- 19. Fry the mushrooms for approx. 5 minutes until golden brown.
- 20. Add the chicken meat back to the pan with the mushrooms.
- 21. Season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 22. Place the wraps in the oven for approx. 3 minutes to warm them up.
- 23. Place the chicken-mushroom mixture in a large bowl.
- 24. Add the dry romaine lettuce.
- 25. Add the drained corn.
- 26. Add mustard.
- 27. Mix all ingredients for the filling well together.
- 28. Remove the warm wraps from the oven.
- 29. Distribute the filling evenly in the center of each wrap.
- 30. Fold the sides of the wraps inwards.
- 31. Roll the wraps tightly from bottom to top.
- 32. Plate the remaining filling remnants as a side salad.
- 33. Place the finished wraps on plates.
- 34. Serve the wraps with the side salad.
