  1. 1. Halve the onion, peel it, and dice it finely. Quarter the savoy cabbage, remove the core and any damaged leaves, and slice it into strips.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot over high heat and sauté the onion for about 2 minutes. Add the savoy cabbage and let it wilt for about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, deglaze with cream and vegetable broth, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Melt butter in a pan over high heat and fry the gnocchi for about 6 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. 4. Reheat the pan with 1 tablespoon of oil and warm the smoked trout for about 1 minute. Serve the savoy cabbage pot with gnocchi and smoked trout on plates. Enjoy your meal!
