🍽️ Creamy Savoy Cabbage and Potato Casserole with Minced Meat

Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 600 g
- savoy cabbage 500 g
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- parmesan 100 g
- minced meat, mixed 500 g
- breadcrumbs 30 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- butter 20 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 40 g
- milk 400 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- nutmeg, ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potato and wash it thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the potato into cubes of about 2 cm.
- 3. Halve the savoy cabbage and remove the hard core.
- 4. Cut the savoy cabbage into strips of about 2 cm width.
- 5. Place the savoy cabbage strips into the deep steam cooking insert.
- 6. Halve the onion and peel it.
- 7. Put the parmesan into the mixing bowl.
- 8. Grind the parmesan for 10 seconds on speed 10.
- 9. Transfer the ground parmesan into a bowl and set it aside.
- 10. Put the minced meat into the mixing bowl.
- 11. Add the breadcrumbs to the mixing bowl.
- 12. Add salt and pepper to the mixing bowl.
- 13. Mix the ingredients for 30 seconds on speed 3.
- 14. Transfer the minced meat mixture into a bowl.
- 15. Chill the minced meat mixture.
- 16. Insert the cooking insert into the mixing bowl.
- 17. Put the potato cubes into the cooking insert.
- 18. Fill 600 ml of water into the mixing bowl.
- 19. Place the deep steam cooking insert on top of the mixing bowl.
- 20. Close the steam cooking insert.
- 21. Steam the potatoes for 20 minutes on the steam cooking setting.
- 22. Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.
- 23. Remove the cooking insert from the mixing bowl.
- 24. Empty the mixing bowl.
- 25. Put the onion into the mixing bowl.
- 26. Grind the onion for 4 seconds on speed 8.
- 27. Push the onion down with the spatula.
- 28. Add the butter to the mixing bowl.
- 29. Add the flour to the mixing bowl.
- 30. Melt the butter and flour for 2 minutes at 100 °C on speed 1.
- 31. Add the milk to the mixing bowl.
- 32. Add the cream to the mixing bowl.
- 33. Add 0.5 teaspoons of salt to the mixing bowl.
- 34. Add some pepper to the mixing bowl.
- 35. Add a pinch of nutmeg to the mixing bowl.
- 36. Bring the sauce to a boil for 5 minutes at 100 °C on speed 2.
- 37. Mix the savoy cabbage and potatoes in a baking dish.
- 38. Place the minced meat in coarse pieces over the casserole.
- 39. Pour the finished béchamel sauce over the casserole.
- 40. Sprinkle the casserole with the parmesan.
- 41. Bake the casserole for approx. 25 minutes in the oven.
- 42. Carefully remove the finished savoy cabbage casserole from the oven.
- 43. Serve the casserole.
