🍝 Cozy One-Pot Pasta with Brussels Sprouts and Ham

Ingredients
- Shallots 3 pcs
- Butter 4 tbsp
- Bacon strips 100 g
- Vegetable broth 1.1 L
- Whipping cream 200 g
- Processed cheese 150 g
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Salt pinch
- Penne Rigate 500 g
- Brussels sprouts, fresh 400 g
Instructions
- 1. Cut the shallots in half through the middle and peel off the outer skin.
- 2. Place the shallots into the mixing container and put the measuring cup on top.
- 3. Chop the shallots for 2 seconds on the highest speed setting (turbo).
- 4. Use a spatula to push the chopped shallots down from the sides of the container.
- 5. Add the butter cubes and the bacon cubes.
- 6. Remove the measuring cup from the mixing container.
- 7. Sauté the ingredients for 4 minutes on the sauté setting.
- 8. Pour 900 milliliters of hot vegetable broth into the pot.
- 9. Place the measuring cup back onto the mixing container.
- 10. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on setting 1.
- 11. Add the cream, the processed cheese, two pinches of pepper, and half a teaspoon of salt.
- 12. Mix everything for 15 seconds on setting 3.
- 13. Add the pasta to the mixing container.
- 14. Cook the pasta for 8 minutes in reverse direction at 100 degrees Celsius on setting 1.
- 15. Wash the Brussels sprouts and remove any wilted or rotten leaves.
- 16. Halve large Brussels sprout heads.
- 17. Add the Brussels sprouts and the remaining vegetable broth to the pot.
- 18. Cook the Brussels sprouts for 8 minutes in reverse direction at 100 degrees Celsius on setting 1.
- 19. Check if the pasta and Brussels sprouts are cooked through.
- 20. If necessary, continue cooking for another 2 minutes in reverse direction at 100 degrees Celsius on setting 1.
- 21. Let the pasta rest in the pot for about 1 minute.
- 22. Serve the dish with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
