🥤 The Perfect Whisky Sour

Ingredients
- water 100 ml
- sugar 100 g
- organic lemon 1 pc.
- eggs 1 pc.
- whisky 40 ml
- ice cubes 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Put water and sugar into a pot.
- 2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 3. Let the syrup simmer on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- 4. Pour the sugar syrup into a bottle.
- 5. Let the syrup cool down.
- 6. Wash the lemon under hot water.
- 7. Peel a piece of lemon zest using a vegetable peeler.
- 8. Cut the lemon in half.
- 9. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- 10. Separate the egg white from the egg yolk.
- 11. Use the egg yolk for another purpose.
- 12. Pour 40 ml of whisky into a shaker.
- 13. Pour 30 ml of lemon juice into the shaker.
- 14. Pour 15 ml of the cooled sugar syrup into the shaker.
- 15. Pour 10 ml of egg white into the shaker.
- 16. Shake the mixture vigorously.
- 17. Add ice cubes to the shaker.
- 18. Shake the mixture vigorously again.
- 19. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- 20. Rub the lemon zest over the rim of the glass.
- 21. Strain the Whisky Sour into the glass.
- 22. Garnish the drink with the lemon zest as desired.
