Ingredients
- chocolate, dark 200 g
- whipping cream 50 g
- butter 40 g
- whisky 20 ml
- chocolate, milk 175 g
Instructions
- 1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces. In a pot, bring the cream and butter to a boil over medium heat, then remove from the heat and melt 175 g of the chopped chocolate while stirring constantly. Stir in the whisky and let the mixture set in the refrigerator for about 3–4 hours.
- 2. Whip the mixture until creamy using a hand mixer with a whisk attachment. Quickly form small balls with cold hands or two spoons. Let these set in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 3. Bring water to a boil in a small pot. Chop the milk chocolate and melt it in a metal bowl over the hot water bath. Dip the truffles in the melted chocolate, let them drain well, and place them on baking paper.
- 4. Melt the remaining dark chocolate as well, fill it into a piping bag, cut off a small corner, and decorate the truffles with fine lines. Let them dry well. Store the whisky truffles in a cool place. Enjoy!
