  1. 1. Fill a large pot with about two liters of water and bring it to a boil.
  2. 2. Reduce the heat to a low setting so the water is just simmering.
  3. 3. Gently place the white sausages into the hot water and let them steep for about ten minutes to warm through.
  4. 4. Remove the sausages from the water and carefully peel off the outer casing.
  5. 5. Thoroughly wash the radishes under running water.
  6. 6. Remove the green leaves and the root ends from the radishes.
  7. 7. Slice the radishes into very thin rounds or use a grater for fine strips.
  8. 8. Coarsely grate the Alpine cheese.
  9. 9. Wash the chives and shake them dry to remove excess water.
  10. 10. Cut the chives into fine small rings.
  11. 11. Take the fresh pretzel sticks and slice them lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through so they remain connected.
  12. 12. Spread the sliced pretzel sticks generously with sweet mustard.
  13. 13. Place the peeled white sausage in the center of the pretzel stick.
  14. 14. Distribute the thin radish slices and the grated cheese over the sausage.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the finished sandwiches with fried onions and the chopped chives.
  16. 16. Serve the white sausage pretzel dogs immediately and enjoy.
