🍕 White Pizza with Chicory and Pear

Ingredients
- Chicory 2 pcs
- Pears 2 pcs
- Lemons 1 pcs
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Pizza dough with tomato sauce 2 pcs
- crème fraîche 300 g
- Thyme, fresh 5 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius. Set the heating mode to top and bottom heat. Place a baking sheet in the oven to heat up along with it.
- 2. Take the chicory and cut it lengthwise into quarters. Remove the hard core at the bottom. Cut the halves into coarse strips. Wash the strips thoroughly. Dry them well with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wash the pear under running water. Cut it into quarters. Remove the core in the center. Cut the pear pieces into thin wedges.
- 4. Take a lemon and cut it in half. Squeeze the juice from both halves into a small bowl.
- 5. Take a large bowl. Add the chopped chicory and pear wedges. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice. Add some olive oil. Add a spoonful of honey. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything well until everything is evenly coated.
- 6. Take the pizza dough. Place it on a piece of baking paper. Roll the dough flat with a rolling pin. Spread crème fraîche evenly over the dough. You can save the tomato sauce for another dish.
- 7. Take the marinated pears and chicory. Distribute them evenly over the pizza dough. Leave the liquid from the bowl behind. Do not put it on the pizza.
- 8. Take the hot baking sheet out of the oven. Be careful not to burn yourself. Carefully slide the baking paper with the topped pizza onto the hot sheet.
- 9. Slide the tray onto the lowest rack in the oven. Bake the pizza for about 15 minutes. Bake the pizzas one after the other if you have more than one.
- 10. Wash the thyme under cold water. Shake off the water. Dry the sprigs. Pluck the small leaves off the woody stems.
- 11. Take the bowl with the remaining liquid from the pears. Add the fresh thyme leaves. Stir the leaves into the liquid.
- 12. Take the finished pizza out of the oven. Cut it into pieces. Pour the thyme mixture from the bowl over it. Serve the pizza immediately.
