🍰 Festive Christmas Muffins

Ingredients
- walnut kernels 100 g
- hazelnut kernels, whole 100 g
- butter 150 g
- sugar 150 g
- vanilla sugar 2 tsp
- salt pinch
- eggs 2 pcs
- wheat flour, type 405 200 g
- baking powder 2 tsp
- raisins 100 g
- cinnamon 1 tsp
- cardamom, ground 1 tsp
- powdered sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Chop the nuts into coarse pieces.
- 3. Place the soft butter in a bowl.
- 4. Beat the butter with a hand mixer and whisk until creamy.
- 5. Stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt into the butter.
- 6. Add the eggs one by one and mix well after each addition.
- 7. Sift the flour and baking powder over the bowl.
- 8. Mix the ingredients quickly to form a smooth batter.
- 9. Fold in the nuts, raisins, cinnamon, and cardamom into the batter.
- 10. Grease the cups of a muffin tin or line them with paper cases.
- 11. Distribute the batter evenly among the prepared cups.
- 12. Bake the muffins in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- 13. Remove the muffins from the oven when they are golden brown.
- 14. Carefully loosen the muffins from the tin.
- 15. Place them on a wire rack and let them cool down.
- 16. Dust the finished muffins with powdered sugar before serving.
