🍰 Refreshing Watermelon Sorbet with Mint

Ingredients
- mint, fresh 10 g
- watermelon 1 kg
- organic limes 1 pc.
- sugar 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Place a shallow casserole dish in the freezer for about 30 minutes to chill it thoroughly.
- 2. Wash the mint thoroughly and shake off excess water.
- 3. Carefully pluck the mint leaves off the stems.
- 4. Cut the watermelon into quarters.
- 5. Remove the green rind completely from the fruit flesh.
- 6. Cut the red flesh into coarse chunks.
- 7. Halve the lime.
- 8. Squeeze the lime juice and reserve 4 tablespoons.
- 9. Add the lime juice and sugar to a large bowl.
- 10. Stir the mixture vigorously until the sugar has dissolved well.
- 11. Add the watermelon chunks and mint leaves to the sugar mixture.
- 12. Blend everything finely using a hand blender.
- 13. Press the puree through a coarse sieve to remove seeds and fibers.
- 14. Finally, adjust the taste with more sugar, lime juice, or mint if desired.
- 15. Pour the finished melon puree into the pre-chilled casserole dish.
- 16. Place the casserole dish in the freezer.
- 17. Take the dish out of the freezer after about 30 minutes.
- 18. Stir the partially frozen mixture vigorously.
- 19. Return the casserole dish to the freezer.
- 20. Repeat the stirring and freezing process a total of 3 to 4 times.
