🍰 Refreshing Watermelon Pops

Ingredients
- Organic lemons 1 pc.
- Oranges 1 pc.
- Sugar 100 g
- Watermelon 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lemon thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
- 3. Cut the lemon and the orange in half.
- 4. Squeeze the juice out of both fruits.
- 5. Pour the juice into a pot.
- 6. Add water if necessary until you have exactly 100 milliliters of liquid.
- 7. Add the sugar to the juice mixture.
- 8. Place the pot over medium heat.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 10. Simmer the syrup for about three minutes while stirring constantly.
- 11. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup cool down completely.
- 12. Peel the watermelon and remove the seeds.
- 13. Cut the fruit flesh into small cubes.
- 14. Place the melon cubes into a tall container.
- 15. Puree the fruit flesh until smooth.
- 16. Mix the pureed melon with the cooled syrup.
- 17. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
- 18. Fill each mold with about 80 to 100 milliliters.
- 19. Insert the sticks into the molds.
- 20. Place the molds in the freezer.
- 21. Freeze the pops for at least five hours or overnight.
- 22. Hold the molds under warm water briefly to release the pops.
- 23. Remove the popsicles from the molds and serve them.
