  1. 1. Rinse the lemon thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Finely grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
  3. 3. Cut the lemon and the orange in half.
  4. 4. Squeeze the juice out of both fruits.
  5. 5. Pour the juice into a pot.
  6. 6. Add water if necessary until you have exactly 100 milliliters of liquid.
  7. 7. Add the sugar to the juice mixture.
  8. 8. Place the pot over medium heat.
  9. 9. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  10. 10. Simmer the syrup for about three minutes while stirring constantly.
  11. 11. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup cool down completely.
  12. 12. Peel the watermelon and remove the seeds.
  13. 13. Cut the fruit flesh into small cubes.
  14. 14. Place the melon cubes into a tall container.
  15. 15. Puree the fruit flesh until smooth.
  16. 16. Mix the pureed melon with the cooled syrup.
  17. 17. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
  18. 18. Fill each mold with about 80 to 100 milliliters.
  19. 19. Insert the sticks into the molds.
  20. 20. Place the molds in the freezer.
  21. 21. Freeze the pops for at least five hours or overnight.
  22. 22. Hold the molds under warm water briefly to release the pops.
  23. 23. Remove the popsicles from the molds and serve them.
